The Hypericum, of the St. John's wort genus, is a garden plant which changes its looks. The ‘miracle’ in the name is a bit of a giveaway. The plant sports yellow flowers in summer and strikingly red berries in autumn. It is winter hardy and can be grown in a pot or directly in the garden soil. If you wish to prune the plant the best time is March.
