The Adromischus is a succulent which can store water in its thick leaves. This facility is the source of its ancient Greek name, as ‘adros’ means thick and ‘mischos’ means ‘stem’. The Adromischus is best placed in a light spot; a windowsill for example. Contrary to most plants, it is happy in full sunlight and requires little water. It originates in South Africa, so loves the heat. You can also place it outside in summer.
