Plants look after us if we look after them
The Clerodendrum Prospero is an exceptional flowering plant. Not only for its looks, but also as it is cultivated by only one European grower: Decorum grower Richplant. The Clerodendrum was discovered around the turn of the 19th century in India by the Danish botanist Nathaniël Wallich. A botanist with a clear eye for exotic beauty, as the Clerodendrum is testament to. This ‘glorybower’ as the plant species is sometimes called has clearly defined white flowers, which stand exquisitely distinct from its shiny green leaves. Take a closer look at the flowers and you will discover they are shaped like butterflies.
