Hofland Freesia at Hotel Jakarta Amsterdam

A brilliant combination

During the press event of Sisley Paris, the freesias were shining in the impressive decor of Hotel Jakarta. Hotel Jakarta Amsterdam is located on the Java island of Amsterdam, the 'greenest' hotel in the Netherlands. A subtropical garden has been laid out in the atrium and the hotel's operation is energy-neutral.

The world-famous brand itself had asked for the elegant freesias. A beautiful picture where the product was the centre of attention was the result.

The meaning of the freesia

The freesia has a special meaning, it stands for trust and innocence. Often the flower is given as a gift during the seventh year of marriage, because it symbolises pure love. The freesia is a lovely flower that stands beautifully alone in a vase, but also combines well with other flowers. The freesia is also called the 'Cape lily of the valley', because the flower was once discovered in South Africa.

Hofland Freesia

ofland is a well-known name in the Freesia world. On an area of almost five hectares in Maasdijk, Marinus and Erik Hofland produce about 17,5 million stems per year. The five colours grown by Hofland are available all year round in good quality! You can view the freesia assortment here!
