Product information
The Anthurium symbolises exotic beauty and can be perfectly combined with other flowers. Anthurium is derived from the Greek words 'anthos' and 'oura', meaning 'bloom' and 'tail'; a very apt name. As well as its beauty, the Anthurium features another significant quality: of all cut flowers it holds its beauty the longest. The Anthurium originates in Brazil, Ecuador, Peru, Colombia and Venezuela. French botanist Eduard André discovered the flower in Colombia and Ecuador in 1876. And Monsieur André was an extremely prolific explorer indeed, as he is also credited with discovering orchids, bromeliads and various arum lilies, all of which he returned to Europe with. Merci Eduard! Grower of this product: Fiore.
